Latest technology used in scale model production is 3D printing. It helps to manufacture detailed construction structures that are almost impossible to be produced from plastic or resin. In Arma Hobby internet shop first 3D printed model wing structure details and helicopter tail boom are available on preorder!
3D printed model parts are made from durable resin. Openwork structures are "printed" on wax supports. Small amount wax residues have to be washed with white spirit and paint brush before further assembly.
Clean and dried parts of 3D print have to be primed with Surfacer primer. If some 3D print layer are visible after priming - they should be polished with grade 000 steelwool. Then prepared 3D print is ready to use in your model.
3D prints from Attack Squadron are sold exclusively in Arma Hobby shop (they are unailable to wholesale customers). It makes both reasonable margin for manufacturer and accessible price for customer. Althought slightly more expensive than resin sets, 3D prints offer level of details worth much more than price.
Dispatch of 3D prints orders is in 2-4 weeks after preorder in shop.
