Tamiya Lockheed Martin F-35B Lightning II - aircraft model kit
The F-35 Lightning II is an ambitious aircraft designed to meet the diverse needs of different U.S. service branches through three distinct variants: the F-35A for the Air Force, the F-35B for the Marines, and the F-35C for the Navy. Perhaps the most adventurous of the three is the F-35B, which is intended to replace the AV-8B Harrier II. Featuring a lift fan positioned between the engine and the cockpit and a 3-bearing swivel module system, the F-35B boasts short takeoff and vertical landing (STOVL) capability in addition to its supersonic airspeed, extreme low observability, and exceptional situational awareness.

- The extremely stealthy F-35B is recreated with great accuracy, including finely molded raised RAM sections.
- The aircraft is depicted either hovering with the nozzle pointing downward or already landed.
- Two different sets of landing gear parts (compressed and extended) are included.
