Another important announcement! As happened with the Yak-1b, the stock of 1/72 scale Hurricane Mk I kits is also running out. As we are concentrating all our efforts on the work on completely new kits, also the Hurricane Mk I will not be relaunched for a long time.
But, as on the occasion of the Yak, we are doing a Farewell Promotion on the Hurricane Mk I kits, with cool 3D-printed extras (resin details and assembly and travel jig) and a 40% discount on the second kit!
The Hurricane Mk I is not only a legendary aircraft, a veteran of the Battle of Britain and of fights on almost all continents where World War II was fought, but also a cool, much-loved and popularly purchased Arma Hobby model kit in 1/72 scale. Released in the autumn of 2018, it was our first injection moulded kit which was a great international success - so much so that made our brand well known worldwide!
Since then, we have released many versions of the Hurricane I - the most popular, from the Battle of Britain, but also tropical, desert, naval and even Finnish and Romanian versions, fighting on the other side of the front, at the side of the Germans! It is difficult to count it all. It's been many years since its release, and not surprisingly, most of the boxes have long since run out. At the moment only two models are available- in small numbers: the flagship Expert Set 70019, upgraded with photo-etched parts and paiting masks, and the Limited Edition 70024 ‘Allied Squadrons’ from the Battle of Britain and the early 1941, with markings of the Polish, Czech and US volunteer ‘Eagle’ squadrons.

It is these two, very attractive kits, that go into Hurricane's Farewell Promotion. You can order them separately, but of course it's most rewarding to buy them in bundles with the cool extras: resin 3D-printed details and filament-printed assembly and travel jigs.
Both of these add-ons are a very attractive proposition. For a small price, you can add something to your model that is not normally available on the market and makes a big difference.
The 3D-printed resin details are mainly the exhaust tubes and pilot's seat with seatbelts, as well as a superbly detailed control stick - something that can't be injected in plastic at this quality. Although the Hurricane has very good mouldings, these prints add a lot of appeal, of ‘life’ to the model.
And the jig? It's a novelty worth giving a try. Its version for Hurricane premieres today!
It makes building the model easier by helping to keep the correct geometry of the various components, especially the undercarriage, protects fragile parts during construction and painting, and finally allows you to safely transport the finished model to a club meeting or model show! Until now, such jigs were only available for Airacobras, Ki-43s and Yaks, now, for the first time, you have the chance to get a dedicated jig for the Hurricane (fits both our 1/72 Hurricanes: Mk I and Mk II)!
That's not all! In this promotion you can add another 1/72 scale Arma Hobby kit with a 40% discount to every Hurricane Mk I you buy (regardless of printed extras)!
It is worth taking advantage of this opportunity, the promotion lasts until the end of March or until the - already small - stock of Hurricanes is gone!
